Our Role & Services
Architect
Brady Hughes Consulting are acting in the role of ‘Architect’. This means that we have developed the planning stage drawings to construction stage for the houses and coordinated all of the design inputs. We carry out site inspections and provide ancillary design certs and inspection reports to the assigned certifier who ultimately certifies compliance with building regulations. In this case, the role includes for engagement with the planning authority on planning compliance matters and providing certificates of compliance with planning permission for each of the completed units.
Civil engineering design, including roads, drainage, and public infrastructure
In our role as ‘Civil Engineer’, we have designed the roads, surface water system, foul drainage network and watermains to construction stage, and where necessary engage directly with Uisce Eireann and Louth County council. We carry out period inspections on site to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP)
We acted as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) for this residential scheme, coordinating health and safety throughout the design stage to ensure risks were identified and designed out before construction began. Our role included preparing the preliminary safety and health plan, maintaining the safety file, and liaising with the design team and client to ensure full compliance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations

Road layout and integration with existing networks including liaison with various stakeholders including Local Authorities, ESB and Uisce Eireann.
