Brian Hughes Brian Hughes is Managing Director of Brady Hughes Consulting and co-founder of the practice. A Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland and holds a Masters in Planning and Urban Design. He leads on strategy, client engagement, and project delivery. His expertise spans master planning, strategic planning, planning permission, and the design and procurement of projects of all scales. Brian is recognised for his holistic view of each project and his ability to align planning, engineering, and architectural considerations to deliver integrated solutions that unlock value for investors and private clients. His ability to identify risks early on in a project and mitigate against these during the project has resulted in efficiency in delivering successful outcomes for their clients. Brian has also completed Diplomas in Highway and Geotechnical Engineering, Project Management and Planning and Environmental Law.
Yvonne Brady Yvonne Brady is Commercial Director and co-founder of Brady Hughes Consulting. A Fellow of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland and Graduate of Trinity College Dublin, she combines financial discipline and engineering expertise with a strong commitment to collaboration and people-focused outcomes. Over the past two decades she has helped establish the practice as one of the leading planning and engineering consultancies. Her background includes managing large scale infrastructure projects for both the public and private sectors over the past two decades. Drawing on executive education from INSEAD, Brunel, Royal College of Surgeons, Kingstown College and the European Patents Office, she is a certified coach and mentor dedicated to developing engineering talent. She is a recognised advocate for women in the field and a Fellow of the Cartier Women’s Initiative, currently serving as a European Lead
Helen O'Donnell Helen is a Chartered Engineer from Queen's University Belfast, bringing strong technical expertise and a rigorous, detail-driven approach to every project. She has built a reputation for clear communication, meticulous planning, and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. With a strong commitment to engineering excellence and client-focused delivery, Helen consistently supports high-quality outcomes across complex projects. Her dedication and professionalism play a key role in strengthening the firm's trusted reputation within the industry. She holds a Diploma in Environmental Engineering and Executive Education in Health & Safety in the Construction Industry and Spatial Mapping.
Jhonathan Rodriguez Jhonathan Rodriguez is an enthusiastic Architectural Technician with broad experience across architecture, design and construction. A graduate of Architecture from Brazil, Jhonathan has worked across a diverse range of sectors including residential and commercial development. With a strong commitment to delivering innovative, high quality solutions, he combines technical expertise with creative design thinking and thrives in collaborative environments to support successful project delivery from planning through to completion. Currently Jhonathan is undertaking a Masters in Sustainability Design in the Technical University of Dublin.
Chris Thompson Chris Thompson is a Graduate Civil Engineer from Dundalk Institute of Technology and a member of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland. He joined the company as a Student Engineer during his studies and chose to continue his career with the team after graduation. He is highly regarded for his ability to analyse complex engineering challenges and translate them into clear, practical solutions.
With strong technical expertise in AutoCAD, AutoTRACKER, Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems, drainage and road design, Chris plays a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions. He is a highly capable engineer whose work is valued for both his technical knowledge and attention to detail. He has recently completed executive training in Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems.
Chris is also recognised for his positive, collaborative approach to project delivery, working closely with colleagues and clients to ensure efficient, innovative, and reliable outcomes on every project.
Cristina Takeuchi
Cristina Takeuchi is an Architect with 16 years of experience across architectural, engineering, construction, building surveying and conservation practice. Originally from Brazil, she moved to Ireland to develop her English and broaden her perspective both personally and professionally, and brings the curiosity and openness to new experiences that have shaped her career from the start.
Her work spans residential, commercial, educational, corporate, healthcare and interior design projects, from concept and planning through detailed design and construction. She has delivered new builds, extensions, renovations and conservation works, including period properties and vernacular buildings, and has also worked on IoT design for smart homes and offices.
Sarah Flood Sarah Flood is an Office Manager with a strong background in planning administration, project coordination and contract administration. She is currently undertaking a Masters in Planning and Urban Design in The Technical University of Dublin, further strengthening her expertise in the planning and development process. Sarah brings valuable experience in BCAR compliance, planning administration, and project management, supporting teams and clients through complex regulatory and delivery requirements. Highly organised and detail focused, she plays a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly, efficiently and in full compliance from early planning stages through to delivery. Her leadership credentials are further reflected in her work with the Irish Red Cross, where she was recently elected to the General Assembly, demonstrating a strong capacity for leadership, representation and strategic contribution.
Sarah Jane Hughes Sarah Jane Hughes is the Chief Technical Officer, leading the implementation of AI strategies and digital solutions across the company and its client base. A computer engineer from The University of Galway, she plays a key advisory role in guiding digital transformation, helping teams and clients adopt innovative technologies that improve efficiency, decision making and project delivery. With a strong focus on practical value driven AI implementation, Sarah Jane bridges technical expertise with strategic insight to future proof operations and support smarter more connected ways of working.
